Pricing
We charge for outcomes, not hours. No change orders, no material pass-throughs, no additional fees.
Bioanalysis Assays
Sample analysis pricing is all-inclusive. The price includes labor, equipment, reagents, consumables, reporting, data transfer, and any required retesting. Standard liquid biomatrices are supported: serum, plasma, urine, and tissue homogenate. Soft tissues are also supported with an additional homogenization fee (see below). All assays have a 30 sample minimum batch size.
ELISA
$90/sample
- Measurements performed in duplicate.
- Pricing reflects single analyte.

MSD
$95/sample
- Measurements performed in duplicate.
- Pricing reflects single analyte. Multiplex assays charged at $4.50/sample for each additional analyte.
- Lower cost 384-well formats are also available for large sample quantities.
- Typical minimum sample volume of 50 µL.
LC-MS
$90/sample
- Measurements performed in singlet.
- Includes sample preparation prior to injection.
- Typical minimum sample volume of 75 µL.
- Additional multiplex analytes charged at $5/sample.
qPCR
$45/sample
- Measurements performed in triplicate.
- Typical minimum sample volume of 10 µL.
- Nucleic acid extraction is included in the price.
- Additional multiplex analytes charged at $5/sample.
ADME Assays
Our ADME assays are pre-developed to support a wide array of small molecule compounds. Our default options are listed here, but each assay can be configured to your specific requirements. All assays have a 30 sample minimum batch size unless otherwise noted.
Microsomal Stability
$135/sample
- Run with 1µM test compound and pooled human liver microsomes.
- Measurements in singlet at 5 timepoints (0, 5, 15, 30, and 45 mins) along with a negative cofactor control.
Plasma Protein Binding
$135/sample
- Performed in a Thermo Rapid Equilibrium Dialysis plate with 1µM test compound in 100% plasma.
- Measurements performed in duplicate.
- Minimum of 15 samples per batch.
Sample Accessioning
Accessioning involves receipt, unpacking, inspection, inventorying and relabeling and aliquoting as necessary. Compatible, pre-barcoded labware is accessioned at no charge as we are able to directly inventory and load onto our equipment.
Compatible Labware
Free
Other Labware
$10/sample
Sample Prep
We support standard sample preparation procedures priced here. We can also work with a wide array of custom sample preparation procedures tailored to your unique needs during method development.
Tissue Homogenization
$30/sample
- Most soft tissues supported including liver, kidney, lung, and heart.
- Samples must be provided in 7.6 mL Azenta or 15 mL pre-barcoded falcon tubes.
Sample Storage
We provide both short-term and long-term storage of samples following analysis. The first 90 days are complementary. Afterwards, you can elect to store your samples at Dash for a monthly fee, have them shipped or couriered back to you, or have them destroyed.
First 90 Days
Free
Long-Term Storage
$0.4/sample
- Charged monthly.
- Samples stored at -80C with 24x7 environmental monitoring.
- No charge for samples picked for additional analysis at Dash.
- Additional fees apply for picking, shipping, and destruction of samples.
Method Development
Pricing reflects the standard development of a routine method. Price includes all materials, labor, equipment, and reporting for all supported assays. Additional fees may apply for more complex methods and multiplex/384-well MSD assays.
Method Validation
Includes full validation of assay according to GLP/GcLP requirements. All materials, labor, equipment, and reporting included. Successful validation is guaranteed or there is no charge.
Frequently asked questions
The quoted pricing includes all materials (consumables and reagents), retesting/reanalyses for samples failing QC/CV or outside the quantifiable range, data analysis, data transfers, reporting, QA, and 90 days of sample storage.
Yes. As our costs are per plate, we charge for at least 30 samples for any sample analysis project. If you have fewer samples, you will be charged for a full 30 samples.
Yes. For 500-999 samples, we offer a 10% discount on sample analysis. For 1,000+ samples, we offer a 20% discount on sample analysis. If you have significantly large quantities or are interested in larger commits, please contact us to discuss custom pricing.
Dash also has the ability to work with 384-well plates, which dramatically increases throughput, reduces sample volumes, and has a lower per-sample cost than 96-well plates.
Yes. Dash offers a blanket 10% discount on all services for nonprofits and academic organizations. Additional discounts and credits may be offered on a case by case basis. Please contact us to discuss your specific project and circumstances.
Method development includes all phases of creating a robust and repeatable assay for a given analyte(s). This includes research, reagent/material selection (e.g. antibodies, columns), optimization of critical process parameters (e.g. pressure, temperature), establishment of calibration curve, QC levels, and LoQ/LoDs, documentation, and reporting.
Method development reports include all materials (reagents and critical consumables) and instruments as well as a full method protocol with each step and parameters sufficient to replicate elsewhere, and all data, analyses, and summary conclusions.
Method validation reports a full validation protocol, all procedures used for each validation run, all data and calculations, the performance characteristics of the assay, and conclusions.
No. If Dash has already pre-developed or validated a commonly used assay (e.g. a cytokine panel) in your biomatrix of interest, there is no additional development or validation cost. You simply pay for the analysis of your samples.
Put Dash to the test.
Curious if Dash is the right fit? Let us prove it. We’ll take on development work with a guarantee that you will only pay if we can make the assay run on our platform and meet your requirements.
